Patriotic Theme Buffet

For a Patriotic Theme Buffet its best to go with the colors red, white and blue.  You can also add touches of silver to give accents.  

 Put added decor accents like the Statue of Liberty, American flaglets, and Uncle Sam posters

 For the desserts you can have assorted pastries. Instead of the regular cocktail toothpicks.. make small american flags.  You can also serve blueberry and strawberry flavored jello and put cream on top

Salad go perfect with the theme... create a make your your salad station.  Put in separate bowls the condiments for the salad such as tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, cheese, ham, croutons, bacon, etc.. whatever condiments you prefer just add it up. In a larger bowl place all the green vegetables.  Don't forget also to put in a separate bowl at least two to three kinds of dressing: thousand island, Caesar, ranch. Make macaroni salad for those who prefer pasta salad

Another way to make your buffet interactive place a Make-Your-Own Sandwich station.  Put at least 3 kinds of spread - Ham, chicken, tuna . In separate bowls put tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce, pickles and cheese.  In larger bowl put the slices of bread.
